Happy Birthday Ashlynn

Trying to catch up on posts.  :)  Ashlynn has turned 2!  She is such a fun little girl...full of love, fun and sass, but she can be a stinker.
Look at how little she looked.  That picture was taken a long time ago.
She loves to come up with different hiding places.  The entertainment center....
...the dryer.  Why would someone want to go in there?  Too crowded (and not very safe).
She is such a little stinker.  When she sees something she wants, she finds a way to get it.
Caught you!  What a mess you make!
She is such a cutie!  She loves to talk on the phone, or take care of her baby.
She got a stroller for Christmas and ended up putting all her presents in it and pushed them around.
Happy birthday, Ashlynn!
You are such a big girl now.  I can't believe how quickly time has gone by.  We love you!

Caleb's School Stuff

So I am finally getting around to posting again.  Here is an update on Caleb's schooling...a lot has been going on for him.  To start off, he participated in Bonneville's Fourth Grade Utah History Program.  He sang a couple songs as a grade and one as a class about Utah's history (Utah County list, This is the Place, Indians, Mountain men, Pioneers etc).  It was pretty cute.
He even danced a hoedown at the end.  He seemed to enjoy performing in this program.  It is nice for him to be able to participate in fun things like this.
Next he participated in the Science Fair this year.  This was the first year of doing this.  We decided to start off with something fairly easy to pull-off with little help from me.  He tested different brands of popcorn to find out the percentage of popped popcorn in each bag.  It was a lot of work for him, but he did a great job.
Finally, he participated in Battle of the Books.  He was put on a team and each child was assigned books to read.  Later in the year, they were quizzed as a team about the entire list of books.  His team ended up coming in first place!  His team went on to an assembly were they competed again the teacher team.  They were one question away from beating the teachers, but in the end, the teachers won.
He had a lot of fun with this program.  Here Caleb is with his trophy.  He was so proud of himself and his team.  They worked hard and competed against several teams.
Good job Caleb!  I am proud of all that you have accomplished so far this year.  We will see what the next year of school will bring.
